Building systems that matter.
I'm Phellipe Rodrigues, a Senior Software Engineer with a strong track record building high-performance, mission-critical systems — especially in the financial and payments sector (Fintechs). Currently serving as IT Project Lead at Mercado Pago, leading payment gateway integrations at continental scale.
My career was built solving complex scalability problems at major players like Mercado Livre (Mercado Pago), Omni Conectado, C6 Bank (via Invillia), and IBM. I have deep expertise in Golang and Java/Kotlin for microservices, with a focus on resilience, low latency, and gateway integrations — including protocols like JSON, XML, ISO 8583, and positional batch files via SFTP.
My journey into tech started in 2017, after more than 10 years working in commercial and logistics management — including 7+ years leading teams. That experience gave me a strong foundation in leadership, project management, and understanding business needs that I carry into every engineering and architecture decision.
I'm currently expanding into the Golang and modern SaaS ecosystem, leading the development of MyFyn — a financial management platform focused on UX and data intelligence. I also serve as a volunteer tech coordinator, building management and automation tools for third-sector organizations.
I hold a degree in Systems Analysis and Development from UNIFEOB and an MBA in Cloud Computing Projects from Faculdade Descomplica. With 117+ repositories on GitHub, I'm always learning, experimenting, and sharing knowledge.
